Question

Canada Post is a crown corporation and its workers are represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW).

In October 2018, after a year-long negotiations, Canada Post and CUPW still couldn't reach an agreement. So the union announced it would start "rotating" strikes on October 22 across the country, a day that was close to the the busiest online shopping season of the year.

On November 22, the Trudeau government introduced back to work legislation to force an end to the rotating strikes.
