Restructuring the workplace during Covid-19 was a strategy that ALM had to adopt to survive (see above). Now the world has re-emerged from Covid-19, travel restrictions have been eased, international and domestic flights are back on the cards. ALM is preparing to bounce back. However, they are faced with new problems. Like other companies, ALM is facing the Great Resignation, which is the phenomenon where Australians are resistant to go back to pre-Covid working conditions and pursuing a better work-life balance. At ALM, many managers are hesitant to go back to the office. Furthermore, early last year, as Covid lockdowns took hold and ALM shut down operations, a large number of employees lost their jobs (approximately 15% of the workforce). Now, as the country and economy open up again, ALM is struggling to fill those same roles, putting increasing pressure on those that are currently working. In this context, hiring new people and retaining existing employees are essential to the survival and revival of the business.

Focusing on retention only, give three recommendations on how ALM can successfully retain their existing employees in their organisation. Justify your advice.
