Problem

Field placement is in a psychiatric hospital for geriatric patients: Construct this in a script form

For this role-play, the "client" will select one or more examples from their field placement (or personal experience) of a client/individual whose presenting problems are described as more "emotional" than behavioral (such as anger, depression, guilt, or a desire for greater closeness with a spouse or partner). As the social worker, you will role-play the first session to demonstrate how a behavioral practitioner would attempt to orient the client to the behavioral approach and develop appropriate targets for intervention. Note, you will be posting this video for peer review and feedback.

There is no need to discuss confidentiality, etc.: Move immediately into assessing the client from a behaviorist perspective. For this role-play, the "client" can be themselves: a graduate student seeking counseling, etc.
