Case #1.
It takes Amy the greatest effort to get out of bed. During the day time, she is exhausted, but when it's time to sleep - she just can't. She feels as if she is getting absolutely nothing done at work and keeps wondering when the boss will discover how little she has accomplished.
Her wife does not understand; she keeps saying to "snap out of it." There are times, when she's alone, that life appears hopeless and meaningless.
Case #2.
Mark has constant worries that the vacation he has planned will not go according to plan. He makes hundreds of to-do lists each day and often checks these lists to make sure they are correct. When Mark is at work, he continuously reminds his colleagues of upcoming deadlines, sometimes 15 or 20 times each day. He continues create lists of tasks for himself, so much that it becomes deviant.
Case #3.
Dianne is a young woman who claims to have built a vacuum robot from spare computer parts, which she acquired from a local restaurant. When asked to draw a picture of her robot, she drew a picture of what appeared to be complex mathematical calculations (which in fact consisted of meaningless repetitions of symbols).
She likes to talk about her unusual ability to hear things other people cannot hear, and said claims she is in communication with some sort of creature. She thinks she might be haunted, since. she can hear his voice talking to her and asking her questions.
Case #4.
Don goes through periods when he feels like absolutely nothing can go wrong. His entrepreneurship goes through the roof, as he creates new business plans and writes up ways to get money. Sometimes he will even engage in promiscuous behavior, despite being married.
However, at other times, he feels so down that he can't even get out of bed. He wonders how he could ever be happy, as life seems purposeless. It really takes a toll on his marriage.

Case Study Set 2
You will be given scenarios that describe a particular disorder that has been discussed within weeks 3, 4, 5 and 6. You will need to diagnose the psychological disorder; you will also need to provide justification for why this is the diagnosis you chose (at least a paragraph).
Afterwards, for each of the cases, you will need to describe how at least two of the following therapies orientations would view and treat the disorder. Further, describe which therapy would have the most effective approach (and why).
