Pearl is employed as a salesperson in Loadacom PTY LTD, Mandini ,where she sells the latest brand of mobile phones and receives a commission for her sales. Goga is a street vendor selling eggs at Mandini. Her highest level of education being grade 1. To facilitate and improve her business dealings she approaches pearl to purchase a mobile phone. pearl decides to charge her double the retail price as Goga is unable to read the displayed price. Pearl will also receive a higher commission for the sale of a device at a higher price. Rosanna who is a law librarian at a private college, witnesses the unfair sales tactics of pearl. Rosanna is disgusted and decides to research aspects of the consumer protection act of south africa, especially the right to fair and honest dealing. She approaches with the following statement which she has located in a commercial law text:

"it is unconsciousable for a supplier to knowingly take advantage of a consumer who is unable to protect his/her own interest because of a physical or mental disability, illiteracy, ignorance and inability to understand the language of an agreement or similar factors."

Evaluate the above extract located by Rosanna by relating it to the right and honest dealing in terms of the consumer protection act 68 of 2008 and explain its sphere of application to Rosanna.
