The United States is a country of immigrants, there are people from all over the world represented here, we are indeed a salad bowl. Some people are voluntary immigrants (they come here because they want to be here), some are here because of political issues in their own nation and then there are those who were brought here involuntarily. We are nation of immigrants nonetheless.

AMEND epsode 6, walks us through the history of immigrants experiences, trails and difficulties to become a citizen of the United States. Some groups were admitted without much opposition. Others endured unthinkable experiences to as they sought citizenship and a new life.

Currently the U.S. is experiencing another historical immigration situation. Compare the current immigration challenges with the challenges of the Chinese, Mexicans and Africans of the past.
