Have your comment on any one book that has a significant value for understanding the history of disease and public health in China from 1850 to recent, especially Hong Kong, Taiwan or/and Macau, and write up a critical review of the books. It is better to pay special attention to relevant historiographic issues.
It is better to have two references about the book review from Academic Journals.
The review not only summarizes the content of the book. but also clearly identify the thesis, or argument, that the author is trying to develop as well as identify the contributions the author hopes to make in the book (What perspectives are they trying to change?).
For examples,
1. Why is the author writing the book?
2. What aspects of the subject do they think have been neglected?
3. Does the author make any mistake in their mythology, sources or etc.?
4. Could the author's argument provide any insights towards the present situation?
