Consider this case from your textbook "Harvey was a 15 year old with a long history of delinquent acts. He had been in and out of the court system since he was 10. When he pulled a knife on another student at school, he was arrested and again referred to the court. Harvey became out of control in the courtroom and threatened to "get that lousy kid who sent me here' (the child on whom he had pulled the knife). Thinking Harvey was a safety risk, the judge sent him to a secure detention center until further plans could be made. From there Harvey was placed in a locked setting for delinquent boys." From what you have learned from this class, how might you intervene with Harvey? What are possible reasons a 10 year old acts out?
