It is observed that when the recruitment team receives a job description from various departments within the organization, they often do not spend enough time on understanding the organizational structure under which the hired candidates need to operate. Rather, immediately they start the candidate search process. Imagine a situation where you as a recruitment team leader of your organization are required to hire a marketing professional. Your organization is a tech products company. You are aware that for this job profile, the core activities that need to be performed by the hired candidate would almost be the same across the industry. However, the finer details would vary depending upon the specific organizational structure of your company (functional, divisional, matrix, or geographic) and the nature of the organization (a mature organization or a start-up venture).
