This plastic surgeon was known to bring a lot of patients to health firms around the country particularly due to specializing in body augmentation surgeries. After a year of working at Merywhen, you (The HIM Director) noticed this provider had a postoperative infection rate of about 12%. You speak with the charge nurse in the Med/Surg unit and are asked by the infection control nurse to report this information to the CMO.
