A man inherited his grandmother's summerhouse. The house was horrible shape. The man decided to hire a general contractor. The two came to the agreement of fixing the house for the overall total of $50,000. The contractor noticed the house had additional issues needing repair. The contractor told the man of the extra problems and the man gave the contractor permission to fix the issue with subcontractors. The man, unaware additional cost, thought the cost was still at the original $50,000 agreement. The house was finished. The contractor demanded $88,000. The man refused to pay a penny over the original asking price of $30,000. Ryan Sued.
