• High-Speed is a Montreal-based bicycle rental business that provides its clients with short term bicycle rentals. Bicycles can be rented from one of the many rental shops that are located on the island of Montreal.

• Each bicycle has a unique brand, registry number, 5-digit-ID (format: AA111), date of purchase, and date of production that can be used to identify it.

• Each rental office has a unique 3-digit ID (format: 111) and is identified by its geographic location (i.e., street name, longitude, and latitude).

• Several departments, including bookkeeping, operations, and bicycle management, are involved in this procedure to handle the activities of High-Speed. There could be zero (automated) to ten personnel in each department.

• The bicycle management department will replace missing bicycles and fix broken ones if there are any in the rental office or if there are damaged bicycles there.

• Unregistered and registered users make up the two categories of customers in this business, and only registered users (members) are permitted to make bicycle requests in advance. Those who have registered should give their contact and payment details to High-Speed.

• Members' rental requests and one-time rental requests (i.e., requests from unregistered users) are the two different categories of rental requests. Members may use a bicycle for up to 30 minutes for free; beyond that, they must pay an additional $3 per hour. For onetime rental requests (i.e., unregistered users), a deposit of 90 dollars is required at first, and after that, they are charged an hourly cost of $3 per hour. The deposit will be reimbursed to them after the bicycle has been returned.

o Users must purchase a 50-dollar monthly fee in order to become members.

o For an additional $40 ($90 dollars in total), users may get a family membership, which is good for up to 4 people.

• A bicycle may not be rented out for more than 100 hours at a time.

• The rental office records the date of request, the date the bicycle is returned, information on the bicycle, user details (such as name, address, and phone number), and the total rental rate for each usage.
