Below are three 'hierarchy of maths skills'. For each of them, suggest a pedagogical task/activity that you would implement in an early childhood setting. For each activity, please ensure you have included the following:

1. What the activity is about - what does it involve? You may want to describe the activity briefly.
2. What objects, items, toys, shapes, etc. can be used in the activity;
3. Please ensure you integrate photos of any resources that you would potentially use in the activity (e.g. spoons, leaves, bouncy balls, balloons, etc.)

Hierarchy of maths skills:

1. Basic number relations (sequencing, succession, etc.)
2. Primary generalizations (e.g. sorting, grouping, etc.)
3. Basic maths concepts (e.g. shape, size, etc.)
