1. Hierarchical system of management
1) Define: A traditional way to structure a company. It includes many different levels and higher-level control lower level.
2) How demonstrates article: In article, author use traditional management like "Hierarchical system of management" to compare new kinds of management method like "collaborative management", in order to give reader an opinion about how new methods showed its benefit to manage a company.
2. Collaborative management
1) Define: A new kinds of management method which focus on simplify complex processes in company in order to increase the efficiency of company.
2) How demonstrates article: As a kind of new management method, author figure out it as an example to comparing with traditional method to show that why this method have advantages in modern company.
3. Self-efficacy
1) Define: People's power and willing when doing work for company at a high efficiency and quality.
2) How demonstrates article: Self-efficacy is one of the most important part for a good organization management. When employees are willing to doing its work for company, treat it as part of themselves but not a kind of burdensome, it will be a total success for company.
4. Hope
1) Define: a positive sense which lead employee to believe in the success of their work.
2) How demonstrates article: A company with great organization management can set off all staffs' willing to fight and they will have great confidence to their work and believe that it is useful and can bring profit to company and themselves.
5. Optimism
1) Define: Not only a kind of feeling, in organizational management, it also means a kind of motivating factor to lead employee work hard.
2) How demonstrates article: A successful organization management not only can give employee a kind of positive feeling, they can also change this into great power to lead company's development.
6. Resiliency
1) Define: A skill to learn not only from failure, but also from successful.
2) How demonstrates article: In a successful organization management, resiliency not only means that employees can recover and learning experience from failure, at the normal daily life and even successful time, they can also summary and conclude their experience about successful to make themselves perfect and use them into next round of work.
7. Altruism
1) Define: A willing to help other people without any selfish in mind.
2) How demonstrates article: Altruism is the result of the success of organization management. It shows that a great organization management not only increase company's efficiency, but also build employees thought and lead them become a good person in society.
8. Conscientiousness
1) Define: A willing to perfect his or her work.
2) How demonstrates article: Conscientiousness is another result caused by successful organization management. When employee have a wish to make the work well without any monitoring or assessment to force them, the development of the company will increase fast.
9. Civic virtue
1) Define: A standard for a citizen to follow in society.
2) How demonstrates article: In organization management, employee will be developed in a wonderful situation which can bring positive influence to them, and this kind of affection not only benefit employees in work place, but also will play an important role in social life. A good organization management is also a kind of social responsibility which made by company.
10. Sportsmanship
1) Define: Shows fair and respect in competition with other.
2) How demonstrates article: A great organization management will lead a benign competition in work place, which can increase the positive attitude of work and increase the total performance of the company.
Question: When we talk about new method of organization management, is there still any advantage which traditional method like "Hierarchical system of management" can provide to us?

In Chapter one, we mainly talked about what is organization management and how organization management can lead company into success. Timothy, a psychologist, provide his ideas through psychological perspective about how a good organization management can change employee's mentality and how it led advantages to the development of whole company.
With the development of modern management, new method and idea appeared and shows a great challenge to old traditional management structure. Timothy figure out that traditional hierarchical system of management has disadvantages in set off employee's initiative because its rigid system, and its disadvantages already lead bad influence in the competition between America and Japan in car industry. Using collaborative management, employees shows more initiative at their work, at the same time, they are willing to treat their work as part of company and own development, not as a burden. Timothy attribute the success to the psychological changes which caused by good organization management. A true organization management can develop variety of virtues in employees mind, including "altruism, conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportsmanship, and courtesy". (Timothy, 2019) It influence employees imperceptibly, and make employees serve and work for the company consciously by non-enforce way. It makes employee feel pleasure to their work, at the same time, employees will bring these excellent qualities to society, this also reflects the company's social responsibility.
In my opinion, Timothy use his experience in psychological area provide a new method for us to realize how important a good organization management is. Combine with what we learned in Chapter one, it is a good supplement in another view. Today many companies using several methods to increase its development speed, employee efficiency and loyalty, and what attract me first is the non-enforce attribute. Perfect organization management has an ability to influence employees in invisible way and avoid the side effects of traditional methods such as preaching. That is one of the important functions which I really focus on and it shows a great value in today's management of company.
