A cylindrical chamber has a uniform diameter of 6m and a height of 3m. The circular roof is maintained at 300oC and has an emissivity of 0.9 while the floor has an emissivity of 0.2 and is at temperature 30oC. The curved wall is well-insulated and may be regarded as adiabatic. Heat transfer between the surfaces occurs only by radiation.
