You work at a healthcare facility and everyday interact with numerous other employees, patients, and visitors. Your work is primarily team-based and your team members rely upon each other to complete each day's work assignments. You want to stand out from the team, however, and be recognized for the high quality work you perform. You are tempted to take credit for the work of another teammate. You are sure no one will ever find out about this and the work in question will garner the recognition you seek. Should you do so? While you are aware that no one will ever find out that you took credit for another's work, you will always know that you received essentially hollow recognition. You decide against taking credit. In this instance, you will be able to get away with taking credit for this work. This is only a small lapse on your part and you promise yourself you won't do this again.
