Question

I can contribute to alleviating the national mental health crisis by working as a provider in my community. I can help improve access to care by providing psychotherapy, which can cover the gap because therapists often have huge caseloads and do not have the ability to accept new clients, or patients are waiting weeks to months to be seen. Since Utah is a full-practice state, this allows me to practice independently, which can help me to improve my patient's access to health care.
