After completing the unit, what do you think is the relationship between weight and health? - After completing the unit, I've began to better understand that the relationship between weight and health isn't a "one size fits all". What I mean by this is that everyone has a different body type. When companies apply one size fits all, they are essentially pushing their ideal body type on to consumers.

After completing the unit, how do you think cultural norms about weight affect you, if at all? - After completing the unit, I believe that the cultural norms about weight affect me by shaping my perspective on fatness and thinness. Which influences the level of acceptance I have for my body and others.

3. What have you learned about disciplinary practices regarding and ideologies of weight that you did not know before completing this unit? - From the readings of this unit I learned that disciplinary practice regarding weight is lacking awareness and understanding.
