This could be a single case study paper comparing practices of an organisation to what is in the theory or it could be multiple case study paper comparing practices of a number of organisations to theory and to one another. In either case you should pay particular attention to the following points:

• Have you demonstrated that you have sufficient understanding of the theory by undertaking a literature review in the area?Is the literature review sufficient to demonstrate that you have developed a critical understanding of the theories relevant to the topic of the case study?

• Have you provided a description of the case study (or case studies) in sufficient depth, but without going in to too much detail, to provide the reader with adequate understanding of the case study?

• Have you provided a critical review of the practices of the case study organisations in the context of the literature?

• Does your paper draw reasoned and authoritative conclusions as to what the organisations should do to improve their supply chain performance and or practices?
