Questions: Have you noticed that humans like to put labels on things? It seems to be human nature to categorize and classify things. An example of this is how western history is chunked and labeled. This week we learned about the time period called the "Renaissance." This was a time of renewed interest in learning and technological growth.

I'd like you to consider your own history in a similar way. Come up with a one or two-word description for the time you are living in now. You could consider this on a personal level or a community, national, or international level; however, the personal level will probably be the most helpful in preparing for your personal creed. Provide a short (one paragraph) explanation for the term you choose, identifying what typifies this time period (just as the time periods we've studied so far have distinguishing characteristics).
