New Deal

The New Deal has begun in turn of legislative actions named "The First Hundred Days." The purpose of introducing this legislation was to decrease the unemployment rate, especially for farmers increasing at that time. Congress also took an interest in the legislative action because it was seen as beneficial for addressing the industries' weak performance and the banking crisis. The New Deal was presented to increase the concept of justice in American society. The New Deal successfully addressed the people that America's people were in depression due to a decrease in the employment rate. This legislative action aims to help the people from dealing with this issue. The farmers were dealing with various problems that were focused on this legislative action. But it can be determined from the research that the New Deal's purpose to lift the Americans out of depression did not succeed. The main reason the New Deal did not get its mission was World War II between the 1930s and 1940s. The New Deal was a better opportunity for the people because they could decrease the rate of unemployment. Due to the decreased rate of unemployment and GDP, American people's living standards were decreasing day by day. These problems lead to people's depression, and various other mental diseases are also increasing in the country. Thus the President presented this proposal to remove the people from depression. Other men also presented three proposals for the betterment of people (Williamson, 1994).

The proposals were attractive for the people of America because they could get money from the government after retirement, which was a problem-solving situation for old people. The older people or retired people were in more relief due to these proposals due to which they started promoting these proposals. Furthermore, the young people were also attracted to the program because they could get relief in their future, and there was no issue related to the money after retirement. The presenting of proposals encourages people to promote their program to get relief. It was a better opportunity for all of them to get equal rights in society. They used different methods to promote their demands in front of America's government to make them aware (Rejda, 2012).

Some people were not in favor of the proposals and tried to discourage people from promoting them. But the major population was in favor due to which they also applied strategies to promote the proposals. They were aware of the fact that they will get compensation and benefits by promoting the proposals. Therefore, they were in favor and were giving more concentration to the opponents, due to which they became discouraged.

These proposals become popular with the American public due to their effectiveness. The people have found these proposals attractive because these proposals ensured them to give more opportunities to the people who were a chance for American people to decrease the unemployment rate and solve other problems with which they were dealing in a routine. The people were able to understand which proposals were in their favor. Due to the proposals' efficacy, they found it beneficial and spread the efficacy of proposals in front of common people. The proposals' popularity was an indication for the government that people want justice and employment to enhance the opportunities for needy people. The living standards were not so high among the people in America, and these proposals were a better opportunity for them to enhance their living standards effectively (Amenta, 1992).

President Roosevelt was known for the reforms he had made for the people of America. For this purpose, he also took these proposals seriously. Initially, he thought that these proposals would not be so effective for America's people, but later, he found that people can get facilities by following these proposals. The President criticized the proposal explaining that the retired people should retire after becoming unemployed from the job. The purpose of this proposal was to give equal rights to the aged people present in America because they were not getting any kind of money due to which their savings become finished after some time. Then they had to decrease their living standards. This was the major problem of the depression of aged people and young people because they had to do a lot of savings to maintain their living standards even after retirement. The President was little in favor of these proposals. Still, he also tried to convince people that by applying these proposals, there are also chances of enhancing the depression situation instead of coming out from the depression.

Congress also took part in this situation and showed positive results in turn of these proposals. The committee considered that the major cause of depression among the people of America is the unemployment rate. Therefore, the President needs to take these proposals seriously so that the employment rate can be reduced effectively. Congress was the major committee thinking about the problems and challenges with which the American people were dealing. These proposals were famous in the upper committee, but the general people are also promoting these proposals. Therefore, Congress took it seriously and motivated the President to implement some strategies presented in the proposals, especially for older people's betterment. The men were feeling responsible after analyzing the response of the general people, President, and Congress. They were not expecting such a response and were motivated to think for the American people further. The only problem that they had to face was President Roosevelt's criticism about the facilities for retired people because the President was thinking that it would create more problems instead of solving it (Steele, 1979).
