At poker night Mr. Brown developed a sudden sharp head ache, had impaired vision and appeared to be inebriated; he was slurring his words and couldn't walk straight.

2. Dr. Davidson is a 60 year old man who has worked in a very high stress career for all of his adult life. Last year he and his wife noted that he had stiff muscles in his hands, then tremors started in his hands that progressed to his wrists and arms. As the months passed the muscles of his arms legs trunk and neck became rigid and stiff. Both doctors knew there was a disease process at work and Dr. D. was tested and diagnosed with a neurological condition which eventually left him with lack of coordination, a mask-like expression, shuffling gait, slurred speech and ultimately death.

3. Julie is a 35 year old Canadian woman, whose signs and symptoms began with tingling and paresthesia then muscle weakness in her arms and legs. Her signs and symptoms progressed to vision and balance problems that affected her standing and walking. These signs and symptoms made her feel frightened and she sought medical testing and help. Julie's aunt had the same condition as Julie. There is no cure for this condition and it has left Julie with extreme pain, short-term memory loss as well as difficulty speaking and swallowing.

4. Briar, a 19 year old male, a self-confessed "dare-devil" was recently riding is motor-cross bike when he lost control and crashed the bike and went flying over the handle bars.
