Some people suggest that the most effective organizations have the strongest cultures. What do we mean by the "strength" of organizational culture, and what possible problems are there with a strong organizational culture.
Do you agree with the post below?
Yes, I agree with the statement " Happy Employees Create Happy Customers". This is because a happy employee exhibits a good workmanship and is motivated to do more than what s/he can offer. This would mean that s/he would be able to cater to the customers needs and make them more comfortable in purchasing your product/service probably because of the service of the staff in a store. A good service to customers is proven to have converted sales increase because they are able to give the best experience in shopping to their customers.
Having strong organizational culture means that the organizational values and beliefs of a company is widely shared and can influence the employees on their job. This creates a clear and coherent values which is expected to have been agreed upon with by the employees and they would exhibit care towards those values. The strength of having organizational culture means that it would exhibit better teamwork, high productivity rate, and a higher sense of satisfaction for both the company and the employees themselves. However, there are still limitations to this as it sometimes creates poor communication especially when a team doesn't have any chemistry which would create a toxic relationship between the employees and would affect the company, it may also impose an unhealthy focus on gaining profits instead of focusing on adding value to your company, and it may also promote too much competition to do well and be well motivated that employees unavoidably create a friction between their relationship towards their co-workers.
