Question

In some cases, populations of certain species can become unnaturally large due to human activities like habitat modification or the absence of predators. In urban and suburban areas, overpopulation of certain animals like deer can lead to increased collisions with vehicles and other human-wildlife conflicts. Controlled hunting can reduce these risks and enhance public safety. In other cases people argue that killing animals for the purpose of population control is ethically questionable. They believe that animals have intrinsic value and that humans should not have the authority to decide which individuals live or die. Some studies suggest that hunting might not always be an effective method of population control.
