Explanation for the implications on different brand strategies for different retailers
When you have done the above answer the following questions:
a)There is a growing trend toward private label store brands. Discuss five (5) conditions in the external environment that have encouraged this growth.
b) Provide at least two (2) ways that retailers can capitalize on this trend toward private label.
Select three (3) retailers with different brand (national, private label) strategies. You may use the Internet to research your chosen retailers and/or you may visit their retail outlets.
c) Compare the retail mix (all six (6) factors) for each retailer
Discuss the differences between their target audiences given their brand strategy
Discuss one (1) significant retail marketing observation based on each retailer's brand strategy For example, select three (3) retailers:
Retailer 1-Sells only private label brands.
Retailer 2-Sells a mixture of private label brands and national brands.
Retailer 3-Sells only national brands.
