How would you respond to this- Corporate Universities are a great example how companies prioritize education and further their employees dedication and commitment with the company. Corporate universities help employees develop new skills and techniques, learn new programs related to their job functions and grow more professionally and personally. A lot of courses that are offered for the most part are job related, but some of them help workers to increase their morale and become better people. I work for a logistics company which has a corporate university program. There are more than 10 courses a year that need to be taken by employees in our company on average. Most of them are centered on operations, logistics, management and security of transportation. Corporate universities promote learning and help some employees further advance via corporate ladder by mastering new technics and skills. Moreover, a culture of continuous learning is a great example how company views employee performance, education and values. I think more companies should practice such programs to consistently invest in the education of their employees and increase employee retention and loyalty.
