Some students in one of my sections had a great discussion concerning the informative TED talks we saw in the classroom. You can receive up to 4 extra credit points (= 4% of your overall course grade) by rewatching one of those speeches and drafting a more formal critique. Answer the following questions and refer to the speech to support your answers:
.) What is the thesis in the introduction?
.) How is the thesis supported in the body (what evidence or examples are provided)?
.) Is there a clear structure to the speech that is easy to follow?
.) How is the speech delivered, well or poorly?
.) If you were to offer any advice or suggestions to improve the speech, what would they be?
