Suppose that a patient has an infection with a Gram-positive bacterium at a certain body location at which the osmotic pressure of this location is similar to the osmotic pressure of the bacteria cell.

The patient was treated with Vancomycin so that he she became well (surpassingly. recovered). However, after stopping the medication, the Infection re appeared again at the same location and with the same pathogen. Why do you think that after stopping the medication, the infection re-appeared again? Please explain
