Goal of the Summative: Reflect on your learning in the International Business course and communicate the depth of your understanding through questions!
What is to be submitted/evaluated:
1. Create questions for each Overarching Learning Goal we have covered in the course.
2. You must have:
Four Primary Questions
Three Secondary Questions
Two Tertiary Questions
Two Final Questions
3. A five minute interview where you may be asked to provide detailed possible responses for some, if not all step 2, 3 and 4 questions.
4. You will also have to justify your step placement of those questions.
Rule:
1. You cannot have two questions that apply to one learning goal in the same step of questioning.
2. Tertiary and Final Questions - There should be 1 question from each strand (A total of 4 questions)
3. Be creative - use the examples as a guide. Your questions should not all have the exact same format.

2. Factors that Influence Success
3. Marketing, Distribution & Logistics
4. Ethics and Decision Making
Primary Questions: Facts and Basic Information
In this step of questioning the goal is to have you be able to write a question that assesses the ability of the reader to recall basic information about the course material.
Example: A Multiple Choice, True/False, Fill in the blank, etc type of question.
Secondary Questions: Application and Impact
In this step of questioning the goal is to have you be able to write a question that assesses the ability of the reader to apply the facts and ideas learned to the current global business environment.
Example: Provide an example of XX and how it has impacted XX.
Tertiary Questions: Analysis and Interpretation
In this step of questioning the goal is to have you be able to write a question that assesses the ability of the reader to analyze and interpret a current trend in international business.
Example: If XX, then .....?
Final Questions: Critical Thinking and Debate
In this step of questioning the goal is to have you be able to write a question that assesses the ability of the reader to debate current issues about different international business scenarios.
Example: Create a topic for debate taking into consideration multiple perspectives relating to International Business.
