International trade has gone through many changes, especially during the last 60 years. It is really amazing how we can identify very different trends and dramatic changes in the way we interact commercially with the rest of the world. You have been exposed to different inputs as part of the materials for this Unit. We went from the history of Bretton Woods, GATT and the WTO to the opinions of experts towards where we are standing today and where we are going, of course taking into consideration where we are coming from. Also please remember the fact that COVID19 has changed the tendencies of Global Trade dramatically.

the topic is "The Path we Should Follow in Global Trade". In this document you will describe your won conception on where the world should be heading to regarding world trade. Mainly, today we see two paths: protectionism or free market. You have to focus your discussion in one of the two topics, giving support to your arguments, explaining why and how to do it, as you coincide or criticize some of the materials provided this week. Yes, you have to agree with some and disagree with others, all of this while explaining your idea, expressing your opinion and sharing your view. Remember to mention the influece of COVID19 and maybe, just maybe, you also want to mention the problems with the global supply chains because COVID and other issues.
