As a professional and as a beneficiary of care (patient), I want you to think about this. Not until the last ten years or so did healthcare providers tell the patient if there was an error made during the care provided, nor was it expected by regulatory bodies. How would you feel knowing that an error occurred but didn't tell you the patient? As a professional do you feel this was ethical practice?
