A new cast iron pipe is 5 km long and 15 mm diameter is used to convey water at a rate of 0.0150m3s-1. Given the absolute roughness of the pipe is 0.26 mm, density of water is 998 kg/m3 and dynamic viscosity of water is 1.14 × 10-3 kgm 1s-1.
