Reflection
Task
Drawing on the Peer Evaluation Group Work form used to reflect on Assessment task 2 (Poster), you are required to follow the Gibbs' Reflective Cycle to reflect on your own communication strengths and areas for improvement noted during the group assessment task. The written reflection needs to be an individual piece of work by each student.
The purpose of this assessment task is to enable you to reflect on your intrapersonal awareness of your communication skills. You should also demonstrate an understanding of the importance and practice of self¬reflection/reflective practice.
Understand the assignment
It is most important that you begin to appreciate that a reflection is much more than simply a narration of what was done or not done. In the context of communication techniques and strategies, a reflection process involves understanding your thoughts on what was done and what improvement is required for being a more effective and safer practitioner in your future practice.
Drawing on the Peer Evaluation Group Work form used to reflect on Assessment 2 (Poster), you are required to follow the Gibbs' reflective cycle to reflect on your own communication strengths and areas for improvement noted during the group assessment task.
