Consider the Guelph General or Pleasant Bluffs case. Each of these organizations is in the process of implementing new strategic plans (i.e. lean methodology or hospital at home). For the sake of this question, assume that you are part of a new ownership group that has acquired the organization, and will be operating it as a for-profit organization. If you are now a shareholder in this organization, think about what your concerns are with regard to these strategic plans.

Remember that the quality of your explanations is more important than getting the final recommendation "correct".

A) Make a case for how (or if) you think they should move forward with the strategic plan. Focus primarily on demonstrating your knowledge of the tradeoffs involved when evaluating the strategic plan from the point of a shareholder.
