A distribution channel is a network of individuals and organizations involved in getting a product or service from a seller to a customer. A good example is Amazon. Their channels include UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Without these external stakeholders, Amazon would have to strategize significant changes to the Channels portion of their business model.
