In the following space below please set up a Punnett Square using the following information. Chinchillas are a popular type of rodent that is owned by people as pets. Suga owns two Chinchillas, a female with gray fur and a long tail, and a male with white fur and a long tail.

B - Dominant allele for having black fur
b - Recessive allele for having white fur

T - Dominant allele for having a long tail
t - Recessive allele for having a long tail

Please fill out the Punnett Square below for these two individuals (giving the genotypes for the offspring as well (gametes given) and then answer the following questions on the next page.

a) Review the information about the fur color again. If the genotype for the mother's fur color was Bb and the genotype for the father's fur color was bb, what does that mean about fur color, why? (Hint: There are two or three options here that I will take but you must explain them).
