Cloned a repository which happens to be a develop branch from open source
I have changes made to the source code but before committing my changes to main source code in my internal gitlab repository, I need to perform regression tests for particular set of precheck conditions mentioned below:
Question 1. Write a python script or bash script to perform pre-check tests for committing source code.
Question 2. Conditions:
• Check if the build is working: should call for the file build_oai using the path -
a. cd NTN/openairinterface5g.
b. git checkout develop
c. setting the environment variables - source oaienv
d. cd cmake_targets
e. Run build using- ./build_oai -P
f. Print if build is successful else failed
Question 3. If build is successful, then run the file dlsim.C.
Question 4. Generate a mechanism to store the reference values (given in separate file as mcs14_awgn_5G.csv & mcs24_awgn_5g.csv). During validation, the output of running testcase should be compared with the reference values from .csv files.
Question 5. The script should run the testcases, extract the debug points of BER (Bit error rate) and BLER (Block error rate) and check if both are equal to 0 for SNR (signal to noise ratio from 12 db to 20 db).
Question 6. Specify this automation mechanism to run the python script during git process using git hooks and based on the verdict, a push or merge is approved.
