A general description of the aldosterone (chemical messenger) (structure, synthesis and any unique properties). Describe the chemical messenger as if you were speaking to a medical colleague.

- A description of its role within homeostasis and metabolism and the normal functioning of the organ systems where applicable (that it is most commonly associated with).

- Lastly, provide a brief description (again) of the chemical messenger, its primary role, and why it is important in regards to the proper functioning of the human body (as discussed above) as if you are speaking to a future patient, or someone who does not have an in-depth medical background. (In other words, provide a brief description 'in layman's terms').
