ICD-10-cm and CPT Codes for The patient was brought to the Operating Room and placed on the operating table where she received general anesthesia and placed in lithotomy position, prepped and draped in the usual manner for vaginal surgery. Anterior lip of the cervix was grasped with tenaculum, pulled down toward the outlet, the endocervical canal and uterine cavity sounded to a depth of 4 1/4". The endocervical canal was opened so the endrometrial cavity was curetted with a sharp curette and a large amount of tissue was obtained showing evidence of old hemorrhage. Diagnosis of incomplete abortion. The patient had an Oxytocin drip running during the procedure. Blood loss was minimal and the patient was returned to the Recovery Room in good condition. No operative or anesthetic complications.
