Assignment task

Reflecting on performance and developing targets are key aspects of preparation for success.

In this assignment, you will develop a portfolio that comprises a number of tasks on different areas that aim to demonstrate an understanding and achievement of particular learning outcomes.

The total word count limit for the 3 tasks of the portfolio assessment (below) is 2000 words. It consists of the following tasks:

Question 1. Reflect on your performance in the group presentation and in the module thus far. This should be in the form of a reflective statement indicating what you have learnt, aspects that went well, aspects requiring improvement and how you may apply the relevant knowledge in the future [900 words]

Some questions you might want to use as a framework when planning and writing the reflective statement include:

What have you learnt?
What new information has been presented? What was interesting?
How might you use the new information?
What did you not fully understand or confused you, and what did you do about it?

As this is a reflective activity, it can be written in the first person. This will be demonstrated in class.

Based on the reflections from Task 1, elaborate on the areas (academic and professional) that you need to develop further [500 words]

Question 2. Based on the above, you are required to develop an action plan: This should include targets for yourself that reflect how you intend to develop personally and professionally in the future. Within this you are expected to demonstrate some awareness of the global context of higher education and /or employment). [600 words]
