The first one being Cybersecurity as threats have become more sophisticated the law and regulations need to progress to be able to protect consumers and business. Second, data privacy, the new modern digital world has more business entering the online world which means massive collections of customer data what controls are placed to ensure the protection of privacy. Laws and regulations as CCPA and GDPR will need to be adopted by more regions. Moreover, AI and Machine Learning might be of great concern as these technologies give rise to new privacy legal issues and accountability. Lastly, the internet of things due to the constant data being collected at all levels creates more vulnerability for data breaches. Hackers can easily jump into an IOT that is not on secured network and allow the data breach to happen leading to legal concerns around data security. The new modern digital world creates complexity for internet security and privacy issues and organizations need to assess and keep up with new acts and regulations to prepared for these major concerns.
