Tasks:

- This can take the form of a single page word document or powerpoint slide, intended to be displayed as a poster (portrait, A2 size or larger).
- If you wish to use different software, please ensure that it is submitted as a .pdf format file.
- Use this infographic to explore a breeder blanket design and discuss its strengths, weaknesses, design considerations, material selection requirements etc.
- You can, if you wish, propose alternative concepts of your own design, just be sure to explain why your design has potential benefits over other concepts!
- Colourful graphics, drawings, sketches, graphs are encouraged, rather than lots of text.
- The infographic should be eye catching and understandable to a non-technical audience.

2. Write a short essay (up to 500 words) on a material of choice from this concept. Highlight the performance of the chosen material in the environment, covering the pros, cons and opportunity for development.
- Submissions either as a word document or .pdf.
- Remember to consider the synergistic effects of operating in a fusion environment and how this could impact material performance.
- Think of other industries, and how they have solved materials challenges... Could we adopt similar approaches for fusion?
