Near the end of the class, and once all content has been covered, you will report back to the class on one technique/strategy discussed in our textbook and how it is applied in the subfield of clinical psychology. These strategies come from Modules 6 - 9 or the Antecedent (7), Behavior (8), and Consequence (9) focused strategies and the foundational information on the three learning models (operant and respondent conditioning and observational learning). The application of these strategies to clinical psychology will cover all major categories of mental disorders and both adult and child/adolescent psychopathology. In other words, you will get some exposure to the content of PSYCH 333: Fundamentals of Psychological Disorders and PSYCH 464 (Behavioral Disorders of Childhood).

The technique (applications of the strategies) you will cover will be Enuresis: Urine alarm therapy (PSYCH 464- Behavioral Disorders of Childhood). This information is also tells you which category of mental disorders to focus on
