Introduction
Established in 1929 and amended in 1955 and 1975, the Warsaw Convention regulates liability for international carriage of persons, luggage or goods performed by aircraft for reward. This mandates carriers to issue passenger tickets, creates a limitation period of 2 years within which a claim may be brought, and limits a carrier's liability. The convention is referred to often in cases of international aviation law.
