The matrix approach combines both functional and divisional approaches simultaneously, in the same part of the organization, improves coordination and information, and dual lines of authority make the matrix unique.

Some people argue that the matrix structure should be adopted only as a last resort because the dual chains of command can create more problems than they solve. Do you agree or disagree? And explain in your own words why?
