You are in the purchasing division, which is considering buying a new car. The prices of the cars A and B are almost identical. Other options are also almost the same. However, the fuel consumption rates are presented in different unit systems. Car A consumes fuel at the rate of 28 miles/gal, while the fuel consumption rate for the car B is 9 km/L. Which car should you recommend the company to purchase, and why? Show your calculations.
