A frictionless piston-cylinder device initially contains air at 200 kPa and 0.2 m3. At this state, a linear spring is touching the piston but exerts no force on it. The air is then heated to the final state of 0.5 m3 and 800 kPa. If the atmospheric pressure is 100 kPa and the diameter is 0.2 m. How do you find the following?

a) the mass of the piston and the spring constant.

b) the work done on the atmosphere.

c) the work done on the piston.
