The main purpose of carrying out this research is to study the franchise operations of small business units and their retail market plans with view to expansion in global markets. The objective of this study is based on Australian food franchise chain FoodCo Pty Ltd. and assess its expansion goals within a minimal investment as well as short time frame. The main goal in this study is identified as learning the advantages in this sector as well as help the franchise operations overcome challenges.

Problem Statement/Question in Issue:

The main purpose of this study is to analyze how it would be helpful to review the merits of carrying out researchin franchising taking the case study on the Australian franchise food chain FoodCo. The main motive is hence to analyze both positive and negative aspects in the study and help arrive at a solution in providing the company's competency in global expansion.The research is carried on with a view to bring out all necessary requirements for achieving the objectives set above. The research study would include the tools in order to understand whether such international practices can help the proposed research and the intention includes relation of the proposal to the solution that can be accomplished. Food franchise is one of the most successful business segments and hence the research is proposed on this topic.
