Question: There are four rules for credit rating and each customer may qualify for no rule or more than one rule:
Rule 1: Extend customer credit if there is no past due payment.
Rule 2: Extend customer credit if there is a maximum of one past due payment and credit score is at least 600.
Rule 3: Extend customer credit if there is a maximum of one past due payment and credit score is at least 700, or: The maximum risk rating is "2".
Rule 4: Extend customer credit if there is a maximum of two past-due payments, credit score is 720 or greater, Risk rating factor is 3 or lower, Total of purchases for the past 3 years is at least $200,000, and the customer has plans to expand the business.
Enter formulas/functions for rules 1-4 in columns I, J, K, and L respectively. These formulas will demonstrate if the customer credit is approved based on each rule.
Use conditional formatting to show different background colors for the rules outcomes (TRUE and FALSE).
In column "Credit Line" enter a function/formula to show the credit line for customers:
Customer qualifies for no rule: 0
Customer qualifies for one rule: $40,000
Customer qualifies for two rules: $60,000
Customer qualifies for three rules: $80,000
Customer qualifies for all rules: $100,000
Use 3-arrows conditional formatting on customer credit lines
