Remember the four management functions? They are planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Think of a job you have now or one you've had in the past. List the managerial activities you have done or observed. If you have never had a paid job, remember that it takes management skills to manage a home, run a baseball team, and lead a church group. Classify each activity of your job according to whether it involves planning, organizing, leading, or controlling.  Please also include a short narrative substantiating the way in which you have clarified each activity.

PLANNING ORGANIZING LEADING CONTROLLING

i started this and please finsih it and add to it. thank you

worked at a covid testing site.

Planning:

I went to the tent to check in with my supervisor when I arrive in the morning. They then asks if I'm doing the actual testing or if I'm calling/emailing the patients with their test results from inside the office. When I'm in the office, I have to arrange how many tests we'll do and check in on Google Calendar to see if any patients have special results.

Organizing:

We pre-make the kits with the correct test the patient submitted: a pcr test or an antigen test, during morning shifts. Each bag must contain the patient's name, two swabs, and the test. We got to develop packages for antibody tests every now and again. We use Google Calendars to keep track of our daily schedules, and everything is color-coded. Gray indicated that no package had been created and that one was required. The package, which was designated by the color blue, was ready to be delivered. The pcr test was purple, while the rapid test was orange. The color yellow indicates that the test is being processed. Salmon meant that the results had to be called or emailed.

Leading:

Controlling:

When I had to approach the car and ask the patients their name, email, phone number, date of birth, if they had any symptoms, and correct me for the test they had come for, I was under control. I had complete authority over their results.
